Anne obtained her MSc degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Ghent University, Belgium in 2022. She specialized in biomedical biotechnology and developed an interest in neurodegenerative diseases whilst working on her thesis. In 2022, she joined the lab as a PhD student under the primary supervision of A/Prof James Tribble where she is working on targeting neuroinflammation for neuroprotection in glaucoma.
