Carola is currently in her 5th year of medical school at Vita Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. She joined Pete Williams Lab as part of the ERASMUS+ Traineeship Program as she would like to become a physician scientist and pursue residency in ophthalmology. She joined the lab in 2021 and is currently working on digital histopathology projects in animal models of glaucoma and glaucoma patient clinical samples.
